We are looking for an upbeat, collaborative, and creative individual who is excited about the opportunity to lead the Test Environment team.
You're a highly motivated Engineering Manager who is passionate about delivering business value by leading and growing teams. You take a balanced approach to providing guidance and expectations while simultaneously empowering team members to be accountable and make decisions. The right candidate for this role is a strong communicator and understands the value of customer feedback in making data-driven decisions.
What you'll do:
Directly hire and manage a team of engineers in creating a robust testing environment that supports end to end delivery and deployment of new business functionality
Engage with our internal customer teams to understand the pain points of our current test infrastructure and develop solutions to address them
Ensure that the teams can perform the proper testing to meet the quality release criteria
Determine a test data strategy and implement it so that teams can replicate live site experience in the test environment
Influence quality best practices and building in quality in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle for early detection and resolution of defects
Assist in creating a high-quality testing culture
Provide forward thinking engineering and release practices, resulting in products and services that are delivered with increased quality, efficiency, and stability
Communicate effectively with teams; listen to teams’ concerns and issues regarding technology; resolve their needs and expectations and respond accordingly
Who you are:
Bachelor's/Master’s in Software Engineering; or any related field; or equivalent related professional experience
5+ year’s quality engineering experience, REST APIs, CICD, Java and NoSQL technologies
5+ years engineering management experience
Experienced in QA processes, building in quality in all phases of the product life cycle, test automation and execution of all types functional and non-functional tests
Technical leadership with Quality mind-set, ability to lead and coach teams on quality engineering best practices, methodologies, solutions and large scale E2E testing across multiple teams
Experienced with identifying, leveraging and influencing industry standard and leading-edge technologies in quality engineering to improve test automation techniques
Able to test, monitor, debug, fix issues within established SLAs, using testing and monitoring tools
