WHO YOU ARE:

  • Proven knowledge with Excel, Salesforce, Outlook, Slack, and the capacity to read and understand XML and JSON messages

  • Familiar with middleware integration platforms, system architecture, product APIs, web tools, testing environments and internet protocols (HTTP, SSL, REST, GraphQL)

  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify current and potential problems and seek support to find the best solutions, involving internal or external partners and resources

  • Results oriented, you work towards efficiency, taking ownership of issues. Ability to work independently in a multi-tasked, constantly evolving environment, whilst maintaining a focus on goals

  • Communication: personable and with the ability to describe technical situations effectively to a diverse group of teams and partners

  • Proven project management skills: able to prioritize multiple projects, monitor timelines, track progress and provide timely updates to partners and stakeholders on integrations projects

WHAT YOU WILL DO/ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Outline the engagement process with partner. Provide best practices for making the integration a success, validate test files and offer feedback for compliance

  • Offer suggestions for development of process documentation and integration tasks improvements. Become a functional specialist for connectivity transactions

  • Clearly communicate and record status of vendor certification progress. Work closely with Integration Engineers, Product and Technical Support as technical issues arise during the implementation of APIs

  • Work with Technical Relationship Managers to coordinate the integration project kickoffs. Own full-cycle certification testing for various Expedia’s APIs with new/existing partners

  • Provide the partner with standard methodologies for making the integration a success. Answer technical inquiries from all vendors relating to Expedia APIs

  • Perform ad-hoc testing of various scenarios to test partner performance, system functionality and behavior
