About the Internship Program:

  • Onboarding:first week support with our Early Careers team, introductions to Expedia Group, laptop set up, meeting your intern cohort

  • Intern Bootcamp: role-specific technical and professional skills learning to help you get set up for success

  • Social events: regular fun events for all interns to get to know each other during the program 

  • Leadership Series:opportunities to directly ask questions and learn about the career journeys of our leaders during exclusive intern-only Q&A events

  • Learning Series: interactive workshops to build professional & soft skills, and to support development, including topics such as personal branding and mental wellness  

  • Support: coaching and advice, provided by managers, navigators (buddies) and Early Careers

  • Project work: interns enjoy a great level of responsibility and complete incredible projects specific to their role profile based on our business needs  

What You’ll do:

Travel is so much more than simply reaching your destination. Along the way you will make an immediate impact on reimagining travel by developing insightful reports on traveler trends which drive operational improvements in a way that serves our goal to bring the world within reach. From collaborating with internal partners to AB testing hypotheses, there is no shortage of opportunities for technical innovation at Expedia Group – the sky’s the limit!

  • You'll identify partner teams' key problems, prototype solutions, and help solve business problem using statistical analysis and tools

  • You’ll provide ad-hoc analysis and use visualization techniques to communicate insights and recommendations

  • You’ll leverage hypothesis testing to help drive key business solutions

  • You'll gain a good understanding of our domain (i.e. travel, e-commerce) & business goals and become a data specialist and the point of contact for data questions and insights

  • You’ll partner with sales, product, data engineering teams to implement sustainable analytics solutions

Who You Are:

  • Mustbe available to commit to the program start date: May 22nd, 2023-July 28th, 2023 OR June 26th, 2023-September 1st, 2023

  • Must be graduating with an undergraduate or master’s degree between December 2023 and July 2024 in a technical or analytics subject such as Computer Science, Marketing Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Economics

  • Must bewilling to relocate to city of job location if outside commuting distance

  • Must haveno more than 2 years' professional experience 

  • Helpful to have good analytics skills and be self-motivated

  • Helpful to haveeffective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people)

  • Helpfulto have demonstrated experience solving problems with data querying using SQL, statistics and modelling in classes, projects or prior work experience

  • Helpful to have skills in SQL, Tableau, R, Python are a bonus for data transformation, analysis and visualization
