Creative Resource Manager, Marketing Operations

Expedia Group’s Global Marketing Communications team is dedicated to developing and executing innovative and effective global marketing across our family of brands. Within this organization, the Operations and Finance team is responsible for the flawless running of the organization, focused on budget management, forecasting, staffing, vendor relationships, tools and processes. We are seeking an experienced Resource Manager who can help develop and implement a resourcing process and workflow helping to ensure creative excellence across global marketing organization. The role requires a collaborative and solutions-based self-starter, who keeps steady hand under pressure and change to ensure the delivery operational and creative excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with the wider Marketing Operations team to develop and implement a resource strategy for the new Global Marketing organization

  • Collaborate with POD Leads, project management, production to identify and schedule resources based on initiative needs, resolving conflicts where required

  • Determine resourcing risk and over/underutilization on an ongoing basis, escalating issues as needed

  • Lead weekly resource update meeting for POD, working with leadership to allocate resource, ensuring the right person is on the right job

  • Working with project management systems to streamline workflows, understand and improve capacity utilization of the team

  • Own regular reporting and develop resource reporting tools and structures

  • Plan future resource requirements based on high level project planning

  • Build and maintain knowledge of POD project plans and typical resourcing requirements, anticipating bottlenecks and flagging risk where necessary

  • Contribute to the continual improvement of process and supporting tools for resource management

  • Provide Project Management or administrative support where required

Who You Are:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Traffic, Creative Services or Resource Manager in an integrated creative agency or creative environment across TV, digital, content and print

  • Enjoy working in a scaling, fluid environment and feel at home helping us build something incredible, introducing the processes and practices we need to do so along the way

  • Experience in daily and longer-term project planning and resourcing

  • You will be managing the resourcing of large-scale global campaigns

  • Able to multitask and prioritize based on project deadlines

  • Thrives on identification and implementation of key processes to gain efficiencies, scale and actively simplifies complexity

  • Resilient and constructive when faced with change, able to shift approaches when needed in response to unexpected events and circumstances

  • A calm diplomatic approach

  • A people person

  • Able to negotiate with multiple stakeholders at all levels whilst under pressure

  • Excellent communicator at all levels

  • Experience in Apple and PC platforms

  • Experience using Jira and Smartsheet would be an advantage

The total cash range for this position in West Hollywood is $104,000.00 to $145,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $166,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
