Expedia Group (EG) Personalization AI organization is looking for a Senior Director, Machine Learning Science whowill be accountable forbuilding and expandingadvanced machine learning and AI capabilities to power personalization at scale for Travel.

What You'll Do:

  • Set the vision and direction for the Personalization AI products and services such as recommendation, ranking, and relevance.

  • Champion, guide, and inspire innovation and adoption of the latest science practices to promote ML and AI technologies across traveler journey.

  • Oversee and drivedelivery of best-in-class machine learning solutions leading to enterprise-wide adoption internally and externally.

  • Be a strong collaborator with and influencer to cross functional leaders in Product, Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Software Engineering, and Program to drive collective impacts.

  • Recruit, hire, and develop a high performingorganization of machine learning scientists.

  • Proven experience in building large-scale ML/AI solutions empowering personalized experience.

  • Experienced in marketplace with large-scale traffic and revenue. Familiarity with both transaction and clickstream data.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $277,000.00 to $387,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $443,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
