Director, Americas Account Management, Retail Partnerships

The Expedia Group (EG) Retail Partnerships team is responsible for EG’s Affiliate and Brand Partnerships. Retail Partnerships is hiring for an experienced commercial leader with strong business sense and analytical skills to lead and develop a high-performing team of partnership managers and business developers.

As the leader of Americas Retail Partnerships, you will work with global and regional stakeholders to acquire new partners, successfully launch innovative solutions, grow existing partnerships, and guide strategic investments in the region. You will also manage a multi-level, multilingual organization of ambitious professionals, helping them achieve their personal goals and EG’s goals.

This role will report to the Vice President, Retail Partnerships and make direct and substantial impact on Expedia Group’s P&L.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure delivery of business objectives and financial targets including new sales and partnership growth

  • Manage business development efforts against new and existing online partnerships including strategy development, establishing deal terms, driving negotiating strategies as well as renegotiation of existing partnerships as required

  • Optimize existing partnerships via targeted partner investments and collaborative account management in the Americas

  • Establish and lead long-term, successful strategic partnerships in all verticals that provide significant opportunity for growth

  • Contribute to new product development, vendor partnerships, and strategic programs

  • Lead ongoing, day-to-day performance of Americas Retail Partnerships and influence across other functions to proactively and reactively resolve issues

The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $174,500 to $244,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $279,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Miami is $174,500 to $244,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $279,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $223,000.00 to $312,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $357,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
