Physical Security Technology Project Manager
The mission of the Physical Security team is to provide global security for Expedia Group personnel, workspace, and critical infrastructure.Expedia Group is seeking to hire aPhysical SecurityTechnologyProject Managerwithin itsPhysicalSecurity organization.
The successful candidate will supportExpedia Group’sPhysical Security team by consulting and managing the physical securitysystemstechnologyprojectsat an enterprise level. You willassistwithinitiatives that require network, systems, application, and physical security technology expertise in global environment involving everything from enterprise project support, access control systems,video management systems (VMS),IP Video (CCTV),break-fix repairs,and application/system lifecycle management support.
ThePhysical SecurityTechnologyProject Manager will be responsible for owning and driving assigned security projects that are part of the Physical Security modernization portfolio and act as the single point of contact for internal & external teams. You will engage and make recommendations, as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), to relevant stakeholders and assist in detailing the decisions. You will also be responsible for creating project plans,scheduling,and driving meetings, publishing meeting notes, and tracking action items back to partners for resolution.
ThePhysical Security Technology Project Managerwill also work closely with Expedia Group’s integration partners that are responsible for installing security technologies on a per project basis based on the design standards or PSDR. You will manage system training, process training,commissioning,and acceptance of completed systems, and ensure that the system is commissioned and functioning according to EG standards.
You will report directly to the Physical SecurityTechnologyManager and ensure that all key project deliverables including notes, project plans, warranties, as-builts, designs, etc. are downloaded to the Physical Security database.
What you’ll do:
Engage and assist in system repairs and new security construction
Coordinateandprovideremote supportforvendors involved in systems repairs
Oversee individual security vendor deliverables, track service delivery, and request corrective action from vendors as needed
Foster working relationships to educate physical security stakeholders on false alarm reductions
Extract and analyze metricstoimprovephysical security systems
Assist with development of strategies for improving electronic surveillance and access control
Draft reports and prepare presentations on the status of physical security systems
Assist with site audits
Assist withnew technology research/testing
Ability to travelfor system testing and commissioningas needed
Perform other work-related duties as requested. Omission of specific duties does not preclude the Physical Security Technology Manager from assigning duties that are logically related to the position
Who you are:
Customer focused and results-oriented
5 + years physical security systems project management experience
Must have strong knowledge of current security operations tools and processes
Must be a creative thinker, highly analytical, and must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Must be highly proactive, with sense of urgency to produce deliverables with quality and timeliness
Must have the ability to clearly communicate complex security concepts and ideas in a confident and well-organized manner to all organizational levels, including senior leadership
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, able to effectively and efficiently track and manage multiple deliverables, meet timelines, and provide clear and current status to team members for each project
Must have expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Must be comfortable discussing a variety of IT topics including but not limited to networking, servers, network switches, patching, calculating server thermal loads, and power consumption
Must understand the Project Management Life Cycle and have prior associated project management experience
Must have demonstrated a proactive and responsive ability to ensure all partners are aware of work in progress, key dates, and that security projects are delivered within agreed timelines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Must have a sound knowledge of technical security designs and be able to coordinate with Expedia Group technology/ technical security team for port counts, IP addresses, and network connectivity
Good judgement, attention to detail and knowledge of how to raise problems and offer solutions.
Experience interacting with other employees and working with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
An ability to perform day to day core tasks with limited instruction or guidance
A willingness to work flexible working hours to supportproject.
Capable of efficiently prioritizing and completing tasks in an evolving environment
Experience with Lenel OnGuard access control systems, and Milestone video surveillance system
Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal supervision
Experience working in both individual and team environments

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $104,000.00 to $145,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $166,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
