Communication Production Developer

We’re looking for a highly-motivated and detailed person with good technical skills. You should be a talented CRM developer able to code, produce, proof, test, and solve problems across our global CRM program. You should be comfortable in a rapidly-changing environment, exhibit strong initiative and able to handle multiple concurrent projects. You will work closely with internal partners to develop automated B2C communications, supporting the needs of both the traveler and the business. You will be extraordinarily driven to deliver innovative, world-class campaigns that drive increased brand awareness for Expedia Group.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop dynamic, flexible emails/email templates, push campaigns and landing pages

  • Work closely with in-house designers and marketing manager, providing guidance and feedback based on best practices of effective email design

  • Test and solve issues based on the outlined project requirements and/or scope of work

  • Collaborate with strategists and data engineers to create highly personalized and relevant email communications for our customers

  • Stay informed of email standards, trends, and experimental hacks across the email space

  • Participate in business process due diligence and documentation

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience

  • A solid understanding of HTML & CSS skills and responsive email design

  • The ability to hand code HTML email

  • A good understanding of email coding best practices

  • The know how to solve cross-browser compatibility issues

  • Experience with Litmus or other email testing software

  • Experience with personalization and dynamic content coding for email

  • Experience using AMPScript, SQL and relational database structure desired

  • Experience with an enterprise-level email delivery system, Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills

  • Proficiency in the use of Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Experience using Jira, Tableau, or other email marketing and campaign management tools are all a plus

  • Interpersonal skills to develop and strengthen relationships across job functionalities

  • The ability to communicate your progress, complete expected key results efficiently, and manage many projects

  • A portfolio showcasing skills in HTML and CSS

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
