Senior Accounts Receivable Coordinator
The Cash Allocations team is part of the Partner Payment Operations team and is responsible for application of payments for business-to-business activity for Expedia and its various subsidiaries. As such, we require an individual who can protect confidential information, is detail oriented, self-starting and creative with a real passion for standard methodologies. Additionally, they will need to have good communication skills and the ability to work across departmental and company boundaries with both internal and external customers.
What you'll do:
Complete all requests from internal and external customers for the entry and maintenance of AR receipts, direct debit, and credit card failures
Update payment application to amend previously applied payments
Maintain AR records and supporting documentation and assist with month end reconciliations
Utilize SQL Queries, Oracle and other software to complete bulk processing and reporting
Communicate business results to internal partners in a clear, concise and professional manner
Maintain documented cash allocations processes and procedures
Who you are:
Previous experience with Accounts Receivable and/or Cash Applications
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred (Visio is a plus)
Ability to make discernment calls based on limited information, with or without direct mentorship, but in accordance with all policies, procedures, and controls
Pay attention to detail, organized, efficient and has a strong ability to multi-task
Excellent problem-solving, technical, analytical and mathematical skills
Positive attitude, forward-thinking and the aim to work with minimal direction
You are diligent, flexible and enjoy working in a dynamic, changing environment
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
