Expedia Group (EG) Core Services delivers capabilities that can be easily and quickly combined to deliver travel experiences for EG Brands, Partners and Developers. The Vice President of Product for Core will lead the global product organization, responsible and accountable for the strategy and delivery of a set of capabilities will evolve with partner adoption to become the “Travel Platform” for the industry.
What you’ll do
Develop the Core Services platform plan, strategy, tech roadmap and manage operations to support all lines of business & brands to ensure Expedia Group is at the forefront of cutting edge technology to advance customer experience and has capabilities to commercialize externally.
The portfolio currently includes Fraud & Risk Prevention, Loyalty Platform, Checkout Platform, Ordering & Coupons, Payment Platform, Financial Systems and Identity Platform.
Drive the vision and alignment of eCommerce platform offering
Achieve annual operational, financial, and performance targets for Core Services.
Partner with the Traveler , Supply Partner, and Demand Partner Product leader to develop appropriate Tier 1 metrics and drive the organization to deliver them.
Set quarterly goals for end-to-end core transaction platform across product and tech teams
Build & lead a globally engaged organization of top talent which drives innovation
Perform ongoing cross business unit road map prioritization to develop one master eCommerce Roadmap.
Lead and align the eCommerce stakeholders product roadmaps on an ongoing basis through a product council.
Track closure rate and ROI for work that is completed.
Lead communications to create alignment for product vision across all key stakeholders within eCommerce, across P&M and the overall organization.
Provide mentorship and feedback to product leaders on direction, focus areas and connections to other initiatives in the organization.
Build relationships and influence across multiple parties.
Who you are:
12+ years of successful leadership experience in product and technology for a global platform company
Well versed and experienced with consumer technology and/or platform business with a product-led mindset
Proven excellence leading diverse functional and globally dispersed development teams in high-impact initiatives that deliver meaningful business results
Creative thinker with extraordinary business, strategic, analytical, management and relationship skills
A "one team" player, transparent and an advocate of sharing data and learnings to create better customer outcomes
Inspires peripheral relationships across Expedia Group, has the enthusiasm and passion to engage own team and wider organization on eCommerce roadmap
The total cash range for this position is $306,000 to $428,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $489,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role
