Senior Manager, Business Planning
Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Planning to join the Business Planning team within the Expedia for Business division. This is a new role that will play an important role in driving divisional and cross-divisional alignment, decision making, planning and execution. This role will report in the head of Business Planning within the Commercial Operations team.
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with confidential information, implement operational governance, lead the rhythm of the business and act as a trusted advisor and confidant to LOB executives, driving communication, collaboration, and alignment to achieve the teams Strategic Objectives. The Senior Manager will also provide program support for our quarterly and annual planning processes.
What you'll do:
Facilitate the flow of accurate and timely information, communication and alignment throughout the divisional and business unit leadership teams to accelerate speed and quality of decision making and execution.
Drive divisional rhythm of the business; prioritize, set cadence and support agenda for leadership meetings, program updates, planning processes and other required meetings
Partnering with analytics and finance to lead scorecard and other operational metric processes and reviews
Lead the organizational rhythms, check in points and content for quarterly and annual planning processes
Partner with divisional teams to ensure the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes are appropriately sequenced and linked to org priorities and resource investments.
Provide leadership and project management for strategic and ad-hoc initiatives connected to annual planning
Dynamic, adaptable, highly resourceful, and proactive problem solver able to manage a high degree of complexity in ambiguous situations and distill information in clear, simple, and actionable ways.
Strong interpersonal skills including ability to quickly build trust, influence and foster relationships with diverse team members using low ego and high EQ.
Exceptional judgment, discretion, diplomacy, tact, integrity and sensitivity with confidential information, documents, issues, and actions.
Passion to foster a culture of engagement and high performance through initiatives, learning and development, communications, and morale building events.
Ability to balance varying responsibilities that span rhythm of the business, communications, Inclusion and diversity, strategic and ad-hoc projects and cross functional work with teams such as Finance, HR and Strategy & Transformation.
Well-developed project management and analytical skills: organization, planning, discipline, attention to detail, and follow through on multiple projects and activities with varied deadlines.
Demonstrated positive leadership and coaching skills with experience managing, influencing, and leading projects effectively in a matrix organized, global company across multiple levels.
Exceptional verbal, written communication skills with ability to present information concisely.
Who you are:
7-10+ years’ experience as a senior leader / executive in a complex global environment
Prior experience in a similar role providing senior level project or program management support
Experience in multiple functional areas within large multinational and/or technology companies
Ability to travel as required
Advanced skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
