Principal Product Manager
Expedia Group is seeking a talented and experienced Principal Product Manager with a passion for Data & AI, eager to shape the future of the travel insurance industry. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development of cutting-edge AI-driven solutions in the insurtech space. As the Principal Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and leverage your expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to deliver game-changing products.
What you’ll do:
AI Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for AI and Data-driven solutions in the travel insurance sector
Market Research: Continuously monitor and analyze the market and competitive landscape to identify trends and opportunities for innovation
Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a clear product roadmap, aligning it with business goals and customer needs
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and other teams to deliver high-impact AI capabilities and models
Data Utilization: Leverage data-driven insights to identify new product opportunities and optimize existing solutions
User-Centric Approach: Champion the user experience by ensuring products are intuitive, efficient, and customer-centric
Product Launch: Lead the successful launch of new AI-powered travel insurance products and capabilities, from concept to market introduction
Performance Analysis: Monitor model performance and iterate based on user feedback and data analytics and organization goals
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to gather insights, establish partnerships, and drive product success
Who you are:
Experience: You have 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a strong background in AI and Machine Learning, particularly in fintech or insurtech industries
AI Expertise: You possess a deep understanding of AI technologies, data analytics, and their applications in product development
Innovative Thinker: You are a creative problem solver with a strong track record of driving innovation in product development
Data-Driven: You make decisions based on data and can effectively communicate your insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Strategic Vision: You have a clear strategic vision for how AI can transform the travel insurance industry
Leadership: You have a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and inspire them to achieve ambitious product goals
Customer-Centric: You are passionate about understanding and meeting the needs of customers, and you advocate for user-centric solutions
Communication Skills: You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Adaptability: You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities
Execution Excellence: You have a track record of delivering high-quality products on time and on budget, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on achieving exceptional results

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $207,500.00 to $290,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $332,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
