Program Director, Developer Experience & Runtime Platform
Expedia Group is seeking a Director, Program Management for the Expedia Group Developer Experience (EGDX) group within the Product & Technology Division. EGDX is responsible for the products, tools and support for our Developer community.This position reports to the VP of EGDX and will lead a team of Technical Program Managers focused on enabling deliver of the EGDX portfolio.
The person in the role will be a key member of the leadership team and act as the thought partner, drive the key initiatives that set up the organization for scale, agility, and high performance; drive consistency; bring alignment for execution and clarity of roles in the execution plans. They will also lead the strategic project development and implementation, internal communications, and operational initiatives for the organization.

What you'll do:
Lead a team of Technical Program Managers, providing leadership and guidance
Drive annual and quarterly strategic planning and resource forecast that is aligned with the strategic goals - Ensure that priority projects are appropriately resourced, driving trade off decisions occur as necessary
Drive orchestration of workstreams and initiatives, coordinating with product lines to ensure consistency in execution
Partner with leaders to ensure alignment across the organization on overall strategic goals, standards, OKRs, and KPIS for each planning cycle
Lead cross functional initiatives that sets the organization for scale, agility, and high performance
Manage leadership communications within the organization
Drive rhythm of business together with business operating teams (e.g., fireside chat, all hands, Q&A, townhall, TechOps review, offsites etc.)
Identify gaps in efficiencies, opportunities for optimization and execute on solutions with the leadership team
Act as the delegate for the VP on directed initiatives
Who you are:
10 + years of experience in strategic planning and prioritization, program management (agile) and headcount management, or related capability
Bachelor’s or Master's in business management or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
Outstanding communication and organizing skills, both written and verbal
Able to engender trust; Strong team-building, analytical, collaboration, and motivation
Advanced abilities to “connect the dots”
A people-oriented team-player who builds allyship across Expedia Group, has the enthusiasm and passion to engage own team and wider organization
Able to work independently and take the initiative to and solve tough problems
Is a leader that drives clarity and executes on ambiguous problems
Extremely proactive, self-directed and takes initiative without explicit direction

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $207,500 to $290,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $332,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
