Manager, Content Strategy
Role Summary:
Join Expedia Group as our Manager, Content Strategy where your expertise will shape the partner website content strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in B2B digital content, adept at delivering content frameworks that resonate with professional audiences and support our business goals. Your mission will be to synthesize complex information into strategic content briefs, guiding our creative teams to craft engaging online experiences that align with our brand and meet our partners' needs.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Content Strategy, you will lead the strategic development of our content ecosystem, drive performance analysis, and explore growth opportunities for our partner website. This position is perfect for those who excel at conceptualizing and implementing content strategies that enhance user experience and engagement.
What You Will Do:
Spearhead the development of our partner website's content strategy, focusing on clarity, engagement, and conversion
Craft detailed content briefs, ensuring alignment across various stakeholder groups and business objectives
Collaborate closely with Brand, Creative, and Digital teams to execute the global website content strategy and achieve KPIs
Lead content audits, leveraging analytics, user feedback, and SEO insights to optimize content on an ongoing basis
Establish content performance KPIs, using analytics to inform and adjust strategy for maximum impact
Support lifecycle management of each web related piece of content, from strategy to analysis, ensuring it aligns with overarching strategy.
Partner with digital and creative teams to prioritize web requests and allocate resources
Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure that content strategy supports and enhances the overall marketing mix
Oversee the global website content calendar, ensuring that there is a content pipeline that supports each business line, employing strategic content tactics throughout the marketing lifecycle
Stay current with industry trends, content strategy innovations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
Works in close partnership with the Brand team to support consistency in messaging and brand voice across all content
Partner with Brand and Creative teams for ideation and creation of compelling content narratives and templates for content standardization
Streamline project workflows, identifying efficiencies and addressing operational gaps
Implement a comprehensive content tagging strategy to provide a seamless user journey
Who You Are:
5+ years of experience in content marketing, with a focus on web and B2B preferred
Proven track record of working with product marketing and managing complex stakeholder relationships
Proficiency in content marketing strategies, distribution, and measurement
Innovative mindset with a proactive approach to project management
Capability to understand and engage distinct audience segments effectively
Excellent project management skills with a strong eye for detail
Collaborative spirit and ability to work across a global organization
Deep knowledge of B2B content marketing and digital marketing strategies
Experience in developing content strategies for large-scale websites
Strong grasp of SEO, content development, and performance analytics
Exceptional communication skills and ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable content briefs
Demonstrated ability to partner with creative teams to realize strategic content visions
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $110,000 to $155,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
