Sr. Learning Experience Designer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Learning Experience Designer to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering business-critical outcomes, driving small to large strategic initiatives for complex projects, while also designing and developing engaging learning experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity, tackle complex problems with critical thinking, and possess a proactive, "go-get" attitude.

In this role, you will:

• Apply instructional design principles to create effective learning solutions that address specific performance gaps and business needs, overseeing projects from inception to full roll out.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to analyze training needs, develop learning objectives, and design comprehensive instructional strategies.

• Lead the development of instructional materials using ADDIE, SAM, or other instructional design methodologies, building best practices and setting standards for the team.

• Be a self-learner who can adapt to new technologies with minimal guidance as the tech-stack evolves.

• Communicate confidently with stakeholders, influencing decisions and advocating for effective learning solutions based on adult learning principles.

• Conduct thorough needs assessments and task analyses to identify performance gaps and determine appropriate learning interventions.

• Maintain exceptional documentation of design plans, storyboards, and project artifacts, demonstrating reliability by following through on tasks without needing reminders.

• Operate effectively in ambiguous situations, adapting to changing priorities, and working well with team members.

• Exhibit excellent communication skills, ensuring transparency and consistency, while maintaining a positive attitude and genuine care for impactful learning experiences.

• Design engaging and interactive multimedia learning experiences, ensuring consistency across all content modalities and tooling.

• Evaluate learning effectiveness through robust assessment strategies and continuous improvement processes.

Experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field or equivalent related experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or related roles.

• Proven track record of creating high-quality, innovative training materials and learning solutions using instructional design methodologies and industry trends.

• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Articulate 360 suite, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud Tools, Vyond, Synthesia, Sana, etc., to develop creative and complex learning interactions.

• Strong organizational skills, including experience in conception, planning, execution, performance monitoring, and project close.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and multi-tasking environment, working autonomously and effectively.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Advanced skills in media production including graphics, video storyboarding, scripting, and editing.

• Experience partnering with various stakeholders to create engaging content, e-learning courses, and multimedia deliverables that support continuous and blended learning.

• Strong consultative approach and exceptional communication and influencing skills to effectively communicate and build credibility with audiences at all management levels.

• Ability to analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources, identify themes, and develop compelling recommendations.

• Critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate instructional effectiveness and collaborate with team members on best practices.
