Position Overview

C Shift Trainer

Saturday/Sunday from 6:00am to 6:30pm and Monday from 7:30am to 8:00pm, with Overtime as needed.

Flexibility to all aspects of the department’s functions

  • Ability to lead, plan, organize, delegate, and control the day to day operations of the warehouse
  • Flexibility to work overtime

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out all aspects of the ever evolving training program, to include:
    • forklift operations, safety, as well as all functions in the warehouse.
  • Team player, maintaining a positive attitude and able to lead by example.
  • Strong attention to detail and results oriented
  • Effectively communicate to the trainees and be able to adapt to a differentiated learning style, if needed.

Skills and Experience

  • 1-2 years experience in a high-volume distribution center
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrate ability to safely operate a forklift
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and communicate well within all levels of the organization
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate ability to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demands
  • Strong attention to detail and results oriented
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs
