Position Overview
As a direct report to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Generalist will provide support on recruiting, onboarding and orientation of new hires, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) maintenance, employee engagement, training and development, and special business and HR related projects. This person will help facilitate key employee life-cycle and operational activities in partnership with our business units, HR, and center of excellence (COE) teams.

This is a full-time position and based in Greenville, SC.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Talent COE and business leaders to continually identify ways to deliver best-in-class recruitment, onboarding, and orientation.
- Support the HR Director with the overall business strategy by helping to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
- Serve as an employee advocate and business partner with timely responses on human resources issues
- Support employees on standard HR cycles including benefits enrollment, compensation, and performance management
- Conduct ongoing analysis of headcount requirements, staffing gaps, market wage rates, and maintain data tracking metrics
- Coordinate employee engagement activities; conduct stay interviews and promote our culture of inclusion and diversity
- Update and maintain employee records in HRIS; responsible for HR transactions such as promotions, transfers, and terminations
- Work with other HR business partners, HR COE and other functional partners (Legal, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition) to deliver HR support/services to the business and employees
- Maintain legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings, if required
Skills and Experience
- 2-5 years of HR generalist experience; previous experience with recruitment and onboarding
- HRIS, Excel, PowerBI and other technology platform proficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships with a diverse group of employees and leaders
- Strong sense of urgency with a positive, 'let's / can-do' attitude
- Curious problem solver with a point of view that proactively provides solutions and resolves issues
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, resourceful, and resilient
- Experience in employee relations, performance management, leadership coaching, and general HR program/operations
