Position Overview:
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Software (.Net) developer position that involves being a part of R&D group that develops complex software products for the electric utility market. The individual should be familiar and comfortable with creating C#, .Net application, WPF and MVVM pattern knowledge is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and create a C# application to be used for automation testing of the existing GUI business logic.
- Generate mockup data to be used in testing the scalability of the UI.
- Work with development team and testing team to identify the automation testing needs.
- Follow SSDLC and best coding practices.
- Interface third-party software stacks, hardware, and system software.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented product development environment.
- Help with requirements breakdown analysis as required.
Skills and Experience
- Proven knowledge of C#. Computer Science BS or .Net C# Microsoft Certification preferred.
- Knowledge to Microsoft SQL.
- Knowledge of WPF and MVVM pattern.
- Experience with revision control and automated build system.
- Must be able to work in an office environment 5 days/week.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.
- Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with other tools for GUI automation testing is a plus.
- Azure DevOps knowledge.
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment/product is a plus,
- Experience with creating automation testing software is a plus.
