Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

Provide Customer Service Specialists, Field Representatives, Agents and Hubbell colleagues technical and promotional support regarding Hubbell Power Systems’ Cable Accessories product line. Provide liaison and coordination between Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales. Support the expansion of product line into new markets.

Duties and Responsibilities
Field Support, Training, Market Development
- Provide day-to-day technical support for field sales, customer service, and internal Hubbell employees on Cable Accessory products and competitive crosses.
- Review customer specifications and recommend Hubbell products and/or services to support the customer need.
- Support customer, channel partner, and sales visits to Hubbell’s facilities by providing product overview education and factory tours.
- Attend related industry conferences and trade shows as a representation of the Hubbell Cable Accessory product line.
Marketing Support
- Provide pricing and product information (drawings, test reports, etc.) for quotations to Customer Service Representatives, Field Representatives, Agents and/or Hubbell Subsidiaries, and directly to Customers when necessary and required.
- Maintain data integrity of Hubbell products on Hubbell website, in marketing catalogs, and associated technical documentation.
- Assist Manager - Publications and Advertising in preparation of technical publications and review technical information and illustrations.
- Review customer product specifications and maintain up-to-date customer files.
Internal Business Support
- Learn SAP PowerBI reporting tools and help report on market data, as requested.

- BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related technical fields.
- Demonstrated examples of strong interpersonal skills and desire to take initiative
- Comfort in technical conversation with others, including via presentations
