Brand Overview
Originally founded as A. B. Chance Company in 1907, our campus located in Centralia, MO, was acquired by Hubbell Power Systems, Inc in 1994. There are separate manufacturing plants for our Civil & Construction Products and Lineman Tools & Equipment business units. Additionally, the campus is home to our centralized Distribution Center as well as the Gano Chance Engineering and Test Facility. Centralia’s manufactured product portfolio includes steel forgings, welding, stamping, hot dip galvanizing, epoxy pultrusion and extrusion products. Collectively, the campus includes 1.4M square feet of manufacturing and production space and employs over 700 people.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform and document product audits to determine compliance with drawings, specifications, process procedures, and routings.
- Calibrate and repair dimensional gauges and various electronic devices and welders.
- Must be able to utilize gauge management software system.
- Use metrology equipment such as micrometers, calipers, surface plate, height gauges, fillet weld gauges, and other advanced measurement techniques in the assessment of material and product quality.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and routings.
- Must be able to write and communicate effectively in formal reports.
- Must be familiar with creating purchase requisitions.
Skills and Experience
- Physical strength to safely lift 15-20 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to safely move and walk through production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Ability to read and write fluently in English.
