Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will serve as a key member of the Hubbell finance team supporting four business units within Light Industrial. This role reports to the Director of FP&A in Manchester, NH and interfaces with senior leadership. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. A strong candidate will be able to partner with the finance team and senior leadership to ensure the delivery of value-added financial analysis and reporting that leads to accurate strategic decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly forecasting and annual operating plan processes
  • Assists in preparing financial reports, analysis, commentary, and presentation materials
  • Ability to create financial models and conduct variance analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement to simplify and streamline processes
  • Completes ad hoc financial information requests and various special projects as needed
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate across all levels of an organization

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, from a four-year college or university required
  • 3+ Years of finance/accounting within a global manufacturing company
  • OneStream, HFM open to other financial software and SAP ERP system experience desired
  • Understanding of US GAAP and SOX controls
  • Ability to effectively identify, diagnose, and communicate complex transactions
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work well with others in a diverse organization.
  • Highly organized with an ability to work well under tight time constraints.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and execute projects effectively
