Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Overview

We are seeking an Operations Reporting Analyst to join our team. The Operations Reporting Analyst will be responsible for providing timely and accurate information to business decision makers at various levels of the organization. This individual will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to define data needs and develop reporting solutions that meet those needs.

This position will report to the HUS Manager, Reporting & Analytics.

What You Will Do

  • Reporting Solutions Development and Maintenance:
    • Develop and maintain reporting solutions that provide timely and accurate information to business decision makers.
    • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various reporting solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and tools.
  • Data Needs Definition and Gathering:
    • Work with project teams to define data needs and gather requirements for reporting solutions.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting Requests:
    • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Monitoring and Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Documentation:
    • Develop and maintain documentation for reporting solutions and processes.
  • Support and Training:
    • Provide support to other SAP and Power BI users.
    • Train others on proper report compilation and usage.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree; an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • Experience in reporting and data analysis, preferably within Manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of reporting tools and techniques; SAP and Power BI would be helpful
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with large datasets: merging, appending, pivoting, grouping, etc.
