Overview
We are seeking a talented Sr. Human Resources Representative to join our growing Connectors Business Unit in Leeds, AL. This position will support the business with full cycle recruitment, benefits, employee/labor relations, investigations, training and development, benefits and compensation.
What You Will Do
- Recruitment:
- Conducting full-cycle recruitment activities such as sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
- Benefits:
- Administering employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
- Assisting employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
- Employee/Labor Relations:
- Handling employee relations matters and providing guidance to managers on employee-related issues.
- Responding to and resolving employee complaints and grievances.
- Investigations:
- Conducting internal investigations related to employee misconduct, harassment, or discrimination.
- Coordinating with legal counsel as necessary.
- Training and Development:
- Developing and delivering training programs for employees and managers.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvement.
- Compensation:
- Administering compensation programs, including salary and bonus reviews, job evaluations, and salary surveys.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Reporting:
- Generating HR reports and metrics to support business decisions and track progress towards HR goals.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or Management
- Strong Human Resources Generalist experience
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proven time management skills; ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively
- Outstanding judgment and common sense, with a demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing employee-centric solutions
- You are results-oriented with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
