Position Overview
Fabricate Hipo equipment to meet the customer's special application needs; train new personnel to do the same; maintain supplies and hand tools for the department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Fabricate Hipo products:
- Hand soldering
- Medium to heavy assembly
- Operate crane
- Operate forklift
- Operate oil processing equipment
Correct problems arising during fabrication and final testing of equipment.
Review and revise all engineering documentation for potential errors and omissions.
Assist in special projects.
Provide support/training to Assemblers, Technicians I and II as needed.
Recommend methods to improve the assembly.
Skills and Experience
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
One to two years electronics experience
Must be able to proficiently read and use schematic and engineering drawings to build products
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
Must be able to distinguish and identify different components/part colors
