Position Overview
The Composite Manufacturing Engineer position will focus on the pultrusion process including equipment, tooling, matrix design and process development to support new and existing products.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and implement pultrusion equipment, tooling, matrix design and processing related to existing and new products
- Support and improve current pultrusion and related manufacturing processes
- Identify, approve, and implement materials related to composite products based on new composite production technology
- Generate and implement cost reduction ideas
- Provide technical support and training to direct labor employees
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Composite, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related field
- 2+ years' experience working with Pultrusion processing and associated equipment
- Must understand composite processing with related materials and chemistry
- Understanding and desire to learn secondary composite manufacturing methods is a plus
- Ability to design pultrusion tooling in Autodesk Inventor or equivalent software is a plus
- Ability to interact across a multi-functional team to support product changes and new product introduction
