Position Overview


We are hiring a Supply Planning Manager to our winning team!

The Planning Manager will oversee, analyze and develop the Aclara supply forecast needed to support customer demand planning. They Will work closely with cross-functional teams (finance, product management, sales, and engineering) to ensure customer demand forecast within the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This position will serve as the Operations subject matter expert (SME) within the ERP system while managing the material planning department and will drive plan attainment at the Aclara contract manufacturers.

Location: Candidates in the following locations will be considered for this position: St. Louis, MO, Somersworth, NH, and Oklahoma City, OK.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage growing planning organization, responsible for conducting employee performance reviews and provide employees with feedback
  • Manage demand forecast and sales backlog to meet customer demand
  • Manage forecast and demand planning as part of the S&OP process
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of open contract manufacturing purchase orders.
  • Manage receipt / ship confirmation of products shipped from contract manufacturers.
  • Manage the timely release of JDE order picks across all AMI branch plants
  • Manage contract manufacturing production attainment preparation and reporting to ensure on time customer delivery / inventory build schedules.
  • Work closely with Director of Supply Chain on overall inventory
  • Liaison between product management, finance, external suppliers, and order entry team with respect to order scheduling to meet customer needs
  • Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) including service and operations metrics

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of supply chain / operations experience
  • Management experience
  • ERP knowledge including but not limited to inventory control, supply/demand allocation, shipping/receiving, material master and planning parameters
  • ERP proficiency
  • APICS Certification
  • Manufacturing/Contract manufacturing experience
  • Product serialization experience
  • Bachelors Degree required
