Position Overview
Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of functions in a Warehouse/Distribution Center to ensure on-time shipping and delivery of the product to customers. Depending on the shift, focus may be either picking, packing, receiving or a combination of the three.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurate picking, packing and shipping of material
- Receive incoming shipments; Verifies for correctness
- Operate material handling equipment
- Handle clerical demands of the position
- Other duties as required
- Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Sit or stand for long period
Skills and Experience
- Ability to learn to operate the following equipment: Order picker, Sit Down & Stand Up Fork Trucks
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or related experience
