Position Overview

Hubbell’s Enterprise Marketing (HEM) Sr. Associate, Account Manager is a strategic business partner to businesses/brands serving the harsh and heavy industrial market. They collaborate with General Managers, product managers and sales leaders to develop a marketing plan in support of the business’ growth objectives and work with HEM to execute against that plan. Sr. Associate, Account Managers serve as trusted advisors to business leaders - understanding their suite of brands/products and markets supporting their needs at all phases of the product life cycle from inception through retirement.

The Sr. Associate, Account Manager liaises between their clients and cross-functional HEM teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of a holistic marketing approach to position Hubbell and its brands and products to be market leaders.

The Sr. Associate, Account Manager is well-versed in a variety of the marketing concepts, practices and procedures and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. They perform a variety of tasks as well as lead the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client Relations

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with business and sales leaders and serve as the primary point of HEM team contact for them.
  • Build cross-functional relationships within the Hubbell organization disciplines.
  • Seek to expand knowledge of both Hubbell brand offerings, competitors and how the market is changing; share learning/insight to add value.
  • Collaborate with business and sales leaders to develop strategic marketing plans in support of growth objectives and KPI’s.

Marketing Strategy

  • Simplify the complex and minimize ambiguity through a rigorous and disciplined approach to uncovering insights, defining objectives and providing clear, concise, direction that drives measurable results.
  • Effectively lead and collaborate with HEM disciplines to deliver best-in-class recommendations and campaigns.
  • Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field of study
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience with agency background desirable
  • Proven marketing, account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, especially to executive leadership
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on their needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detailBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field of study
