Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for leading the HES Business Development teams. This role will aid the Business Development Market leaders in creating strategies to exceed top-line revenue goals. The Vice President will develop and maintain a thorough economic and technological knowledge of Business Development Markets and deploy the approach and methods to drive profitable sales growth. The Vice President will also determine how to maximize demand and increase sales penetration in HES focused vertical markets. This position will partner with the Vertical Market Leader on growth strategy and alignment of priorities for the respective vertical. In addition, the role is responsible for:

  • Supporting and growing sales of assigned house accounts, customer presentations, demonstrations.
  • Achieving standards/specification approvals and helping to develop marketing programs designed to gain market share.

  • Maintaining close contact with top customers to ensure alignment of strategy and new product development.

  • Obtaining, maintaining, and communicating HES products written specifications at Key Engineering Firms, EPC’s, Telecommunications companies, Industrials, Contractors, and other end-users depending on the market assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities
