Job Overview

Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Admin will ensure the timely processing of requests, creating and processing of purchase reqs, & PO's from factory personnel to ensure timely flow of MRO purchased items for the facilities.

A Day In The Life

  • Track and communicate the status of open orders as necessary to support MRO at the factories
  • Communicate with suppliers to include material expedites, delivery status and purchase order maintenance.
  • Process requisitions for indirect materials to support the production floor.
  • Make certain the purchasing documents are processed in accordance with Corporate standard operating procedure
  • Maintain and ensure COI Certificates of Insurance are up to date.
  • Onboard and process new Indirect supplier request and work with Corporate to add suppliers as needed.
  • Work with respective plant personnel and suppliers to correct AP invoice discrepancies.
  • Negotiate best payment terms for Hubbell when Onboarding new suppliers

  • Prior purchasing experience in a related position
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems
  • Basic Excel skill level ability to create spreadsheets.
  • Strong Written and verbal Communication Skills
