What You Can Expect
As an integral part of a team, you are expected to make a personal impact right from the start of the program.
The Traineeship program is a 2-year paid program designed to provide a realistic career experience with the firm and to gain exposure to top professionals across our lines of businesses while participating in a Certificate IV in Business. In addition to the external qualifications, internal learning & development opportunities will also be provided throughout the program duration – including induction training as well as senior management networking opportunities.
Over the course of the program you will be provided the necessary training and also learn a great deal from your colleagues and teammates. You will also get opportunities to meet senior colleagues and continue building your own professional network. You will develop essential knowledge and skills, to help build a dynamic, long term career with us.
In addition to the real world skillset you will gain, you will also graduate the program with a Certificate IV in Business from a top nationally recognized trainer.
What You Might Be Doing?
You will join one of our Corporate teams across our Operations business.
OPERATIONS
Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Operations:
The Corporate & Investment Bank deals with a variety of products including FX, bonds, equity trading/market making, cash management and trade finance. Working in one of our Operation teams will help you to learn how Operations drives our business. You will have ample opportunities to make a real contribution to the organization – these include improving existing processes, enhancing our risk environment and bettering the client experience.
About You
We're looking for results-oriented individuals with enthusiasm for developing strategies that optimize business operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Must have obtained a high school certificate by the time the program commences
- Cannot have commenced or graduated from a degree, certificate IV qualification or higher at the time the program commences (you are not able to study and complete the traineeship program simultaneously)
- Must be Australian citizen or Permanent Residence
- Team player with self-motivation and good communication & interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to resolve challenges, improve processes and ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in teams to deliver results
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
