Builds, develops and supports LBGs systems and services whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring and supporting their team. Able to work within or lead cross-disciplinary teams, providing effective and efficient support for a comprehensive and complex, high customer focused function. Supports the group in the resolution of service related and management issues, ensuring appropriate technical prioritisation, whilst also providing contribution to strategic direction. Includes responsbility for supplier and risk portfolio management. This role accepts 24*7 responsibility for service availability, currency and performance. This is a leadership level role and will blend both technical expertise with great passion for developing people. Also team management tasks, including but not limited to, risk, supplier and resource management.Job Description

The Logging (Splunk) platform team within Group CIO, Lloyds Banking Group requires a proactive, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our expanding team.
The platform team is accountable for the Infrastructure, operating system (Linux) and the Splunk layers.
The role includes:
- Technical project delivery - Prepare technical implementation plans and support the team to ensure the required changes meet quality criteria and are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets. Onboard new data different sources into a multi-tiered Splunk environments.
- Get involved with currency upgrades across all production, pre-production and development/test environments.
