Based in Morrisville, North Carolina, Nufarm is looking for a Director, Regulatory Affairs reporting to the VP, Portfolio Solutions. This is a leadership position within the Portfolio Solutions team that directs the activities and strategy of the US Regulatory team, to meet the team’s goals and objectives. The Regulatory team works with cross-functional teams to manage all regulatory needs required to register and maintain a portfolio of technical grade active ingredients, associated manufacturing concentrates and end use products required to support Nufarm’s sales in the USA.

• Develop, direct, and manage the Nufarm US Regulatory team to ensure all team members achieve their goals which are aligned with the business goals of the North American region
• Select and maintain qualified personnel for positions within areas of responsibility and recommend proper compensation. Provide orientation and training for new employees. Identify training needs and initiate development of subordinates and monitor individual and team performance. Initiate effective personnel actions as required.
• Responsible for providing regulatory expertise and insight that promote product line development, performance, enhance competitive position in the regulatory environment, ensure compliance of assigned product line with applicable pesticide law and promote product portfolio.
• Oversee the defence of US federal and state registrations to maintain and support product portfolio
