What’s possible?

Your challenge will be to ensure the effective and efficient operational delivery of fit for purpose technology services and global/regional projects for the North American region, which includes USA and Canada. Indeed, we’ll rely on you to manage all facets of IT for North America and provide optimized technology solutions that will deliver great customer outcomes throughout the region. In order to achieve that, you’ll need to regularly liaise with the region’s business to understand and enable business outcomes. As well as primarily focusing on regional IT operations and project delivery in North America however, you’ll also get to contribute to global IT strategy too. And, when it comes to representing the region’s interests (Demand Management) within the global IT organization (Supply Management), again, we'll count on you.

Other key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing regional operational IT plans, an appropriate people capability and capacity model and an effective Data Governance strategy

• Ensuring the implementation of IT strategy remains in alignment with other regions

• Overseeing the ongoing maintenance/support of all infrastructure technology, applications and services across the division/region

• Managing the region's IT operational and development budgets

What you’ll need to bring

As well as relevant tertiary qualifications and awareness of all facets of IT, you’ll need a proven track record that ideally incudes global or regional IT project delivery or IT transformation experience. You’ll also need the ability to quickly gain an excellent understanding of the business requirements and IT deliverables required by the division/region.

You’ll also need:

• Excellent people management and leadership skills

• A flair for planning and budgeting

• Well-developed project management skills
