Nuseed has an exciting opportunity for an IT Senior Data Architect to support its digital strategy. This role is based in W. Sacramento, but remote work (with frequent travel) will be considered for the right individual. We are seeking a technically experienced, innovative, and collaborative business partner with responsibility for the design and implementation of a sustainable data architecture for Nuseed.
This individual must apply conceptual thinking to understand business objectives and translate into business solutions. The individual will bring creative thinking, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of our digital investments. The key focus areas for this role will be around the design and implementation of a global data architecture for Nuseed. This person will ensure that the design of the IT and analytics ecosystem supports and accelerates Nuseed business strategy. They will develop and champion data quality management processes across the business.
The Opportunity:
- Understand the Nuseed business strategy and processes. Develop an aligned data management and analytics strategy documents, roadmaps, plans, socialize concepts, liaise with teams for planning and implementation.
- Work with business partners to define ways to leverage data to develop platforms and solutions to drive business growth.
- Knowledge of external and internal data capabilities and trends, provides leadership and facilitates the evaluation of vendors and products, contributes to the provision of oversight and governance for configuration and implementation of products.
- Define and provide consistent direction and governance of the data architectural capabilities and frameworks across work streams such as data model principles, data standardization, data retention, data flow, data lineage and transformation, master data management, metadata management, data quality and remediation.
- Define and own Data quality contract with source team and consistency is maintained in the data lakes. Define the flow and treatment of data across various zones of the enterprise data lake. Work closely with data scientists and analysts across Nuseed to ensure data trust and reliability.
- Closely liaise with SMEs to support maintenance and enhancement of the enterprise-wide data model and ontology.
- Collaborate with architecture and implementation teams to help drive the ongoing adoption of data architecture standards and best practices. Build relationships and trust with key stakeholders to support program delivery and adoption of architecture
Nuseed is seeking a Senior Data Architect with 10+ years of experience to support and accelerates the Nuseed business strategy. The right candidate will have previous proven success in data management, data modeling large complex systems, data analysis, and/or reporting roles of increasing scope and influence. They will also exhibit the ability to learn and absorb new concepts quickly (in business and in systems), apply new knowledge as appropriate, and mentor others.

Salary Range: $105,000 – $150,000 USD
Nuseed takes several factors into consideration when determining salary ranges. These factors include, but are not limited to, candidate experience, education, geographical location, and industry. Nuseed roles are incentive eligible and offer a robust benefit package that are not reflected in the noted salary range.
