How can you grow with Nufarm?
Based in Chicago Heights, IL, Nufarm is looking for a Materials Analyst reporting to our Materials Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing all the inventory activities related to the consumption of raw materials and the output reporting of finished intermediates at the Chicago Heights site. The Materials Analyst role meticulously scrutinizes and investigates all inventories on-site for accuracy. Main accountability includes day to day review of all completed batch and pack orders, bulk storage inventory and packaging inventory. Processing of completed batch/pack orders when required while assisting on-site operators when needed. Process transfers from various DC’s timely and accurately to meet production schedule demand.
What will you be doing?
Operations
- Day to day review of all batch/pack orders
- Reconcile Bulk Tanks for inventory accuracy
- Ensure all completed batch/pack orders are accounted for
- Work with other teams to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity
- Participate in on-site Physical Inventories for campus locations
- Work with Accounting on batch/pack variances as part of month end process
- Other Materials/Inventory responsibilities to support plant operations as required
Planning & Scheduling
- Determine raw materials needs per production schedule
- Process incoming transfers and follow up on timely delivery/receipt
- Work with warehouse team regarding Hot Box schedule
- Process material returns to warehouse
What do you bring?
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management and minimum of 5 years’ experience in a plant/warehouse setting. Familiarity with all aspects of Oracle functionality, excellent analytical, interpersonal, written, verbal communication and the ability to collaborate.
