Based in Chicago Heights, IL Nufarm is looking to engage a motivated Chemical Manufacturing Training Specialist to own, administer, deliver, and continually improve training in support of Nufarm’s training strategy. You will serve as an ongoing educational and training resource to ensure that all manufacturing employees located at our three sites receive the training needed to perform their jobs safely and effectively. Key training focus will be on Operator Development and operational processes.
What will you be doing?
- Manage the training curriculum and records for all employees in manufacturing using Nufarm’s Learning Management System (LMS) Success Factors.
- Work with plant leadership to define learning needs assessments and applicable KPIs measure the effectiveness of Nufarm North Americas Training Program.
- Provide training, follow-up coaching and feedback to employees and managers based on individual needs and development opportunities.
- Work with Site Leadership to develop and deliver solutions to training gaps.
- Create new training materials and ensure all current training materials are up to date and relevant.
- Establish and develop processes/best practices for scheduling e-learning and other training.
- Ensure that training SOPs are updated and remain current.
- Drive PSM including but not limited to PSRM 1Employee Participation, PSRM 4 Operating Procedures, and PSRM 5 Training.
What do you bring?
You hold a bachelor’s degree and instructor-led training experience. The right candidate will have experience and knowledge in PSM (Process Safety Management) systems and OSHA 29 CFR 1910. As well as proficient software skills including Microsoft Office. You have excellent verbal and written communication necessary to communicate with various audiences and ability to effectively provide employees instruction on process and practice.
