Regional Supply Planner Manager
- Responsible for delivering supply requirements across the North America network for the rolling 24-month horizon to ensure customer demand is satisfied in a timely manner.
- Provide manufacturing facilities with detail feasible production schedule plan fully aligned with consensus demand plan and that maximizes asset utilization.
- Provide accurate production projections to material planners, procurement, and Inventory teams to maintain a steady flow of raw materials within service level agreement targets.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of short and long-term capacity models and strategies in collaboration with the operations teams.
- Communicate with appropriate personnel when there is an imbalance in capacity and demand, either excess or insufficient and assist in level loading and adjusting capacity accordingly.
- Lead Production capacity discussion for Supply Review and other leadership report-outs as necessary.
- Develop and maintain planning process best practices and standards related to Integrated Business Planning software toolset.
- Create new scheduling processes and procedures to support company growth strategies.
- Responsible for reporting "Adherence to Schedule" and driving process improvements as related to materials shortages, machine down times, grouping of like products for production scheduling, and establishing time fences for maximum optimization of schedules.
- Provide leadership and direct the activities of the Production Planners.
- Responsible for hiring, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
- Responsible to maintain leadership role by striving for people excellence, actively working with the Operations team to continue to improve, gain insight from mistakes, provide feedback, demonstrate technical excellence, and openly share knowledge to lead to the success of the team.
- Position eligible for part-time telecommuting.
- Travel domestically up to 15% of the time.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management or related field plus 8 years of experience in Operational Supply Chain and Supply Planning in the agrochemical industry (or affiliated, e.g., pharmaceutical, life science).
The required experience must include the following:
- 3 years of experience with Material Requirements Planning.
- 3 years of experience with Distribution Planning.
- 7 years of experience with Production Scheduling.
- 3 years of experience with using an integrated and Advanced Planning System (APS).
- 3 years of experience using Data Analytics (Tableau).
- 5 years of experience with capacity planning for internal and external manufacturing.
- 3 years of experience in Product Segmentation.
- 7 years of experience in Production leveling.
