Job Description
Shopify is moving to become more product-focused with our Talent Systems. This team is responsible for the next generation of autonomous talent; this is a system, that independently learns from internal / external data, that predicts how Shopifolk can meet principles and missions. Talent Systems powers our business, provides domain leadership for internal technology, and delivers technology to make Shopifolk more impactful and ensure operational excellence for internal systems.
As a Lead Business Technologist, you will help manage functional programs for Talent with a focus on Total Rewards or Talent Systems. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Act as a functional expert in either Talent Systems or Total Rewards, working to build and implement internal systems
- Apply product management principles to talent programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and drive positive outcomes
- Create talent product programs with a focus on Talent Systems or Total Rewards working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment
