Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Writer/Editor to join our team who can create engaging and informative content for an audience of large retail brands. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B content creation and have a deep understanding of the ecommerce and retail software industry.
Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and edit high-quality content related to ecommerce and retail software, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and landing pages.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
- Develop a deep understanding of our target audience and tailor content to meet their needs and interests.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in ecommerce and retail software.
- Provide various types of editing based on the unique needs of each project, including: developmental editing, structural editing, line editing, and editing to ensure consistency with brand voice and product narrative.
- Collaborate with designers and multimedia specialists to enhance content with visuals, infographics, and other multimedia elements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Writer/Editor, preferably in the ecommerce and retail software industry.
- Familiarity with B2B content creation and the ability to write for an audience of professionals at large retail brands.
- In-depth knowledge of ecommerce and retail software, including industry trends, challenges, and best practices.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and distill complex information into clear and concise content.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword optimization.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
