Shopify is hiring Partner Manager Recruiters and Partner Managers Develop for our Agency Partner Management team
The Agency Partner Management is a key pillar within the North America Partnerships team and market, who will be responsible for accelerating merchant acquisition through our agency partners. The role support’s Shopify’s regional revenue growth strategy, as partnerships is a main driver of revenue into the organization.
The Partner Recruitment for our Agency Partners is responsible for sourcing new business from our partner ecosystem through inbound revenue. The intention is to increase the number of unique referring partners selling Shopify Plus. Partners may come from a variety of sources; competitor ecosystems inbound inquiries, referrals from source reqs or established networks.
We expect Recruiters to have deep rooted context in our industry. Source new partners, build out joint business plans and facilitate partner enablement.
As a Partner Recruiter you will work on things like:
- Source qualified partners and convert to highly productive partners.
- Serve as a Consultant as the partner builds out their Shopify offering.
The Partner Recruitment for our agencies partners:
- Attend conferences and events
- Conduct Outreach using technology, campaigns, data mining
- Understand business operations of an agency.
- Lead complex deals involving multiple stakeholders throughout the entire sales cycle, from discovery to contract negotiations.
- Manage a pipeline of 20+ opportunities concurrently.
- Navigate the sales cycle effectively, ensuring efficient pipeline management.
- Collaborate with other Shopify teams within your region to deliver the highest level of merchant experience.

Qualifications
- Experienced in outbounding experience preferably in a technology or software product environment.
- Sales acumen with strong discovery skills to identify pain points and effectively communicate the value of product solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and provide clients with the best solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the market and industry in which our merchants operate, including an understanding of their business challenges and how Shopify can address them.
- Ability to manage large pipelines and handle multiple deals simultaneously.
- Desire to learn and master the value of new product iterations, and educate our growing merchant base.
- Passion for engaging with people, understanding their unique business needs, and demonstrating how Shopify can help them achieve 10x growth.
- Ability to innovate and develop new sales strategies to disrupt enterprise software sales.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time in North America
