Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Marketing teams are responsible for broad marketing strategy and execution across all marketing and/or digital activities including integrated, digital, communications, product marketing, etc., for a business, region, country or corporate function by developing clear and compelling positioning and value propositions and go-to-market approaches for new product introductions. They are also responsible for brand portfolio management, aligning with corporate frameworks, including marketing plans for newly acquired brands and creative direction of all marketing communications, overseeing brand experience across all marketing and customer, sales and employee touch points. They develop and implement an integrated strategy for digital marketing, including the TE.com website and social media, digital advertising campaigns that lead the marketing community in accelerated adoption of emerging digital and content-centered marketing practices and lead development and delivery of best practice marketing communications by leveraging industry trends, competitive intelligence, customer insights and analysis in developing compelling marketing programs.
What your background should look like:
As a member of the Sensors Marketing team this role is responsible for defining the marketing strategy for various account types and the alignment of sales and marketing efforts for the Sensors business.
This person will develop account marketing strategy, execute, and report on multichannel campaigns that increase sales and marketing alignment and increase customer penetration with key, strategic and mass market accounts globally. This includes ownership of all components of campaign development, implementation and measurement as well as ensuring our various channels and messages are working together to consistently articulate the value of TE to our customers. This person will work directly with sales to understand the market landscape, competitively position the TE solution, and develop both internal and external promotional launch plans to reach the right customers. This role will also be responsible for creating the SMB strategy in partnership with the segment marketing team as well as account-based marketing. This position will serve as the marketing point person for our internal sales teams and will be visiting with customers to build key relationships and work directly with our customer’s marketing organizations – strong communication, storytelling, and articulation skills will be a critical component for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and optimize core, key and strategic account marketing campaigns including ABM that are aligned to demand generation and sales objectives (pipeline targets, quarterly budgets, and overall business goals).
- Contribute to the commercial strategy of the Sensors business unit by partnering with sales, product management, marketing operations and digital center of excellence to improve the effectiveness of marketing efforts and overall customer experience.
- Sales Enablement (CRM, sales /marketing tools, field reporting/dashboards, training)
- Assisting in the creation of promotional documents, sales collateral, and presentations.
- Enhance marketing profitability by generating a consequent funnel of leads that would lead to ROI.
- Increase marketing conversion into business through best-in-class marketing strategies.
- Customer, competitive and market focus and understanding.
- Work closely with the Channel Marketing Manager to execute the business priorities through our distribution partners
- Execute strong and sustainable eCommerce, lead generation and customer-oriented programs with a focus on measuring and reporting success
- Ability to prioritize, push back and negotiate to align on set marketing priorities, budgets and timelines.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing or related field.
- At least 6-8 years in marketing experience including a demonstrated ability to produce effective strategies and creative marketing materials. (preferably in sensors, electronics or similar area)
Salary- $110k-140k
