Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Production Supervisor Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise production with an aim for high performance
- Helps manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results. Organizes workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Enforces company policies and guidelines
- Recruits, hires, and trains employees
- Oversees and provide coaching to employees’ Excellent communication skills
- Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques
- Ensures that production plans are completed by a certain time
- Contacts appropriate sources for rework and/or repair issues
- Counsels’ employees on how to improve output
- Resolves issues and disputes between manufacturing employees
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Communicates and collaborates other production departments.
- Ensure safe use of equipment, evaluates condition, and follows PM schedule.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers
- Compiles and analyzes production records
- Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting
- Conduct annual performance reviews
- Previous supervisory experience (3years min)
- Ability to track expenses and compile budget reports
- Broad knowledge of production planning processes
- Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills
- Negotiating skills and conflict resolution
- Comfortable working in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Understanding of machine controls and instrumentation
- Good practical experience in MS Office
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Able to sit, walk, move around for long hours at a time
