Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.
Final Inspector's responsibilities:
- Perform final inspections on machine components
- Use standard inspection equipment including RAM, CMM, and OGP
- Inspect Product from production suppliers
- Set up, program and operate measuring systems to determine whether parts meet print dimensions
- Establish daily priorities and determine the most important tasks to perform at any given time of the day
- Use various software applications including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Communicate the results of inspections to Engineering, Inspection and Management
- Train other employees on the use of the OGP Vidoe/Probe, CMM, RAM and other more standard measurement equipment
- Work with production personnel to troubleshoot and solve issues related to inspection of components, or other similar problems
- Must be able to complete and pass training program for Zeiss software (CMM program)
- Enter, pull and track data in SAP software.
- Organize source inspections on specific product lines.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- HS Diploma or equivalent work experience; Associate's degree in technical specialty is a plus
- Three to five experience in quality control
- CMM programming skills preferred but not required
- Thorough understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and ability to measure features for this criteria.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Must pass P3 inspection skill evaluation
- Working knowledge of AS9100.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $ 49,000.00 – $ 73,400.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
