Job Overview

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern on our Manufacturing Engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Design and Develop manufacturing processes for existing and new products.
  • Solve problems using root cause analysis, lean and six sigma tools.
  • Evaluate and investigate chemical, electrical, mechanical and software failures on manufacturing equipment

  • Responsible for tooling design and prototyping
  • Root cause analysis of non-conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Draft, Execute, and Complete Equipment and Process Validation

What your background should look like:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
  • A person who can utilize structured problem-solving techniques.

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18 – 27/hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
