Job Overview

As an Environmental, Health and Safety Intern on Medical Devices team you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in risk assessments and job hazard analysis.
  • Undertake projects directed at a specific EH&S program such as hand safety, lockout/tagout, waste management, or ergonomics.
  • Promote sustainability and environmental protection.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in ensuring continued compliance with applicable EH&S regulations and requirements.
  • Conduct facility EH&S inspections and reviews of EH&S programs.
  • Participate in the development and review of employee training material for various EH&S topics.
  • Conduct audits and assessments on medical production equipment.

What your background should look like:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship.
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or a related major
  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $16.00 -$23.00/hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
