Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Support our warehouse/shipping team to value stream map projects to improve internal workflow
  • Liaise with planning analyst to develop forecast for high-volume shippers and proactively provide feedback on allocations and modes to drive cost efficiencies
  • Analyze supply chain logistics spend including freight, accessorial & surcharges to provide feedback & solution on areas of opportunity
  • Review high volume of freight expenses and provide operational support.

What your background should look like:

Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
Persuing a bachelor’s degree in: Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, International Commerce and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
Knowledge of key logistics cost drivers a plus (i.e., weight, dims, accessorial, space allocation management, etc.).
Some knowledge on INCOTERMS application a plus but not needed

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $15.00 to $23.00/hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
