As an ME Intern on our Core Engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Work with a team of multi-disciplined Engineers and Technicians
  • Work in a fast paced, dynamic global environment.
  • Manage and complete projects within a defined schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Create automation solutions to equipment to improve throughput and man machine ratio.
  • Develop cost savings initiatives by improving processes through design.
  • Develop technical documents communicating machine operation, preventative maintenance, and/or troubleshooting steps.

What your background should look like:

  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING, MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY, or ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING.
  • ELECTRICAL BACKGROUND IS A PLUS
  • PLC BACKGROUND IS A PLUS
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18-35 (subject to change dependent on physical location/Major and year completed)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
