As an Intern on our Product and Process Development (PPD) team, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work with Senior Engineers to develop our next generation of products
- Understanding customer requirements and translating them into cost-effective designs

Short Description
- Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
- Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process to identify root cause and determine corrective actions to prevent recurrence of equipment failure
- Design and coordinate standard engineering tests and experiments
- Design, procure, and fabricate tooling and fixtures
- Assist in planning, organization, and conducting all aspects of technical studies
- Lead one or more projects that will be started and completed within the Internship
- Assist in writing Manufacturing Process Instructions
- Provide engineering support for other departments as needed
- Prepare and complete a presentation to the department at the end of the internship showing your projects and achievements
What your background should look like:
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Biomedical, and Chemical or related Engineering discipline
- Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
- Comfortable working in both laboratory and manufacturing environments
- Desire to work on projects
- Leadership skills
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18 – $27 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
