Job Overview
The Engineering Intern is responsible for assisting in the development and testing solutions to solve technical problems in research and development, manufacturing, construction, inspection, and maintenance. The Engineering Intern assists engineers, inspects products, conducts tests, and collects data.
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers and scientists as they create, modify, build, and test products and processes.
- Assist in the research and development during creation phase of product.
- Assist in the inspection of product and processes for flaws and identify areas of improvement.
- Conduct tests and collect data.
- Assist in product design, development, and production.
- Build and set up equipment.
- Prepare and conduct experiments.
- Calculate or record results during experiments.
- Utilize computer-aided design and drafting equipment during design phase.
What your background should look like:
- Currently enrolled in an engineering or science program at a university, Mechanical or Biomedical engineering disciplines preferred.
- Be able to work a minimum 16-24 hours per week on a year-round basis, with a flexible work schedule
- Knowledge of ISO QMS preferred.
- Must manage and maintain safety in all duties.
- Must have a working knowledge of following test protocols, recording data, and communicating findings.
- Must work well with engineering staff.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be willing to learn all aspects of our lab/shop.
- Must have a good attitude and willingness to do more than asked.
- Must be willing to keep a clean and organized shop environment.

Engineering Manager, Product Development Engineers, Manufacturing Manager, Manufacturing Engineers, and Manufacturing Technicians

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.00-$33.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
